GRIP Metal has been invited to participate in the upcoming 2016 Symposium of Hybrid Lightweight Structures to be held in Wolfsburg, Germany on May 23-24, 2016. The symposium focuses on hybrid components, lightweight construction concepts, and innovative technologies for hybrid composite construction.
An annual event organized by the Institute of Machine Tools and Production Technology of the Technische Universität Braunschweig and the Open Hybrid LabFactory e.V, the 2016 Symposium will take place at the Mobile Life Campus of Volkswagen AG. GRIP Metal Director of Sales, Neb Samardzic, will be presenting GRIP Metal’s novel applications of metal bonding technologies within the field of hybrid composite construction to the conference, and will be showcasing the GRIP Metal technologies within a display area in the main hall.
The Symposium draws R&D engineers within the Automotive industry responsible for the development of hybrid composite structures (Volkswagen, Porsche, BMW, BASF, ENGEL, Voith, DLR, etc.), leading German Universities and many guests from other areas of the automotive design and manufacturing environment.
