(Toronto, Canada) — With the aim of helping companies meet demand while saving time and expenses during the pandemic and beyond, GRIP Metal has released its first-ever wood tool designed with the company’s patented technology. Offered in a range of sizes and coarseness, The versatile wood files can be used on a variety of surfaces and projects.
“Our customers across the globe have asked for a tool that harnesses our unique design and technology, and we are thrilled to deliver it ahead of the summer building and construction season,” said Mark Lavelle, Global OE Sales Director. “With its evolutionary design, this is also the lowest-cost wood file on the market today, which is critical to many companies doing business during challenging times.”
The new file comes in two sizes, 24 and 30 inches, with steel teeth that will never dull and ergonomic non-slip handles designed to prevent fatigue. With its hardened metal hooks, the wood file offers the strongest lightweight file available for trimming surfaces and shaping metal, glass, ceramic tile, marble, granite, plastic and wood.
While this is the first time the NRX technology has been used in a consumer product, GRIP Metal has long been used in construction and building projects. It’s now being employed as the central technology in innovative construction blocks that can be snapped in place like LEGOs to build temporary healthcare facilities in a fraction of the time and with significant cost savings during the ongoing pandemic. The technology is designed to take wood into new products and industries while eliminating the need for adhesives.
“Innovation is more important to our industry and to the economy than ever, and we are pleased to be a part of creating new products that save time, money and frustration while enhancing precision and ease of use,” added Lavelle.
